Your Security with Tator ๐ก๏ธ
Your security is our top priority. Tator is built with multiple layers of protection to keep your assets safe.
Your Secure Para MPC Wallet
Your Tator wallet is a "self-custody" wallet, meaning you are the only one who can access your funds. It's built on cutting-edge technology called Multi-Party Computation (MPC) from Para.
Traditional Wallets: Many crypto wallets are protected by a single "private key" or a 12-word "seed phrase." If you lose it or it gets stolen, your funds are gone forever. This is a single point of failure.
Para MPC Wallets: With MPC, your wallet's security is split into multiple pieces (or "shares"). One share is stored on your device, and another is secured by Para's server. To approve a transaction, both pieces are required. This means that even if one piece is compromised, your funds remain safe. Itโs like having a bank vault that requires two different keys held by two different people to open.
This makes your Tator wallet incredibly secure without the hassle of managing a seed phrase.
Automated Token Scanning with Quick Intel
Tator provides an extra layer of safety by automatically scanning tokens involved in your transactions using Quick Intel's advanced security scanner.
How it Works: When you buy a token, Tator executes the trade immediately. Right after the transaction, the token's smart contract is scanned for potential risks like high taxes, honeypot vulnerabilities, or other malicious code.
Post-Trade Warnings: This scan happens after your purchase. If Quick Intel flags the token as risky, Tator will send you a warning message detailing the potential issues.
Stay Informed: This feature doesn't block you from trading any token, but it empowers you with crucial security information, allowing you to do more research and make informed decisions about your holdings.
Suspicious Activity Monitoring
Tator's SecurityManager works in the background to protect your account from unauthorized activity.
Behavioral Analysis: Tator learns your typical transaction patterns. If an action seems highly unusual for you (e.g., a transaction at a strange time or sending your entire balance to a new address), Tator will flag it.
Automatic Account Freezing: In cases of highly suspicious activity that strongly indicates a potential compromise, Tator may temporarily freeze your account to prevent further unauthorized actions. You will be immediately notified via your registered recovery email.
Secure Account Recovery: You can securely unfreeze your account using a unique recovery code sent to your email, ensuring only you can regain access.
